Gen 3 Glocks and Microstamping

I did a search, and as always reading through the topics gave me a headache and made me wonder why I am still in this state.

What I want to know, and can not seem to find is: Do any Glock 3rd gens have microstamping?

I was under the impression Glock just said no to MS, since they attempted to fight this.

Since you are new to the sport, welcome. I believe the new law requires micro stamping on any new model of pistol offered for sale in California. Many "old" models still available.

If you are new to firearms, welcome. Go take a basic class and enjoy this wonderful hobby.

If CA gun laws don't give you a headache you're either a lawyer or an anti. I have problems explaining gun laws to other gun owners in this state who have lived here longer than I have. A new guy should be no less than completely confused.

Unfortunately my Glocks don't microstamp. So before I leave the range, I collect all the shells and manually engrave the serial number into each. In addition I add my name and SSN just in case.

If you can buy a new handgun from a dealer, it's on the Roster.

'Microstamping' is a gating factor to get on the Roster.

Guns already on the Roster are not affected by gating factors created after they have been put on the Roster.

sad part of all this, is all guns already leave there "footprint"on both the primers and cartridges. just not via a ser number.
