USP 45 Match Trigger - Reset is gritty?

Grabbed the Match Trigger kit and threw it in the USP45 last night. Now the pull it short and sweet but the reset is kind of slow and gritty. It's dry fire only, and resetting to double action so maybe I'm just spoiled by my Glocks and 1911s? Is the reset to double action always kind of slow, or did I screw something up reassembling?

    Thanks guys!

That will improve over time. Put a match trigger on my USP9 a few years ago and experience the same thing. The reality is that when live fire, it always reset to SA, not DA, so pretty much a non-issue.

My USP9 Expert and USP45 Elite both had factory match-triggers and it was slow/gritty as well

Awesome, just as I suspected. Thanks for the tip, can't wait to get this baby out on the range.

Dry fire and reset to single action if you haven't already. If you have, what do you think?

This. It always reset to SA.

My Expert with match trigger does not reset as positive as Glock and PPQ do but that is how I like it. Positive reset is just good for dry firing I guess.
