    DOJ Delay??

I went to pick up my firearm at my FFL today and they told me I got a delay notice. They gave me a copy of the paper work and told me to contact DOJ. From my understanding I'm clean, I have my CCW in CA and AZ. I have bought multiple firearms. This year I bought couple within the last couple of month but it was after every 30days or so. I'm going to call them tomorrow since they are closed today. Has anyone got this noticed for weird reasons? Wonder if this will be a issue with my renewal CCW, or on any future purchase.

    Any assistance is appreciated.

It's likely a mistake or CA gun sales blew up CA DOJ Pentium 4s

I just purchased a Sig P238 and S&W MP10 on the 18th. So far no bad news call from the gun store.
I've bought quite a few this year, but always 30 days plus between starting DROS.

I didn't get a call, I went to pick up today after work and they gave me the letter. I was like wtf? My 30day ended 8/1 bought this one 8/12 because it came in stock.

I'd guess backlog has them overwhelmed. Good luck to you. You got me worried now.

I bought spare mags, an ambidextrous safety for the Sig and parts to make the MP10 featureless. My normal MO.

They mostly seem to get cleared up pretty quick but you never know. Some dude with the same name might have just ax murdered his girlfriend or something.
