    Cz sp01. 9mm

Any one ever change the rear sight on one of these?
Love the weapon hate the rear sight.
What did you put on it??

Or does any one know of a good gun smith in Northern California who does this type of work??

    Thanks

Haven't done my SP-01, have done my 75B, 75 SA and P-01. Not hard to do, but I have a pusher. It can be done without a pusher, get a nylon tipped punch from Dawson Precision.

I put Hi-Viz fiber rear sights. Given that you've got night sights on it I'd go the TruGlo Tritium/Fiber sight if trying to keep night sight capability. I found the Meprolight that comes on the SP-01 to be easier to see than Trijicon in daylight since the Meprolight has a ring around the tube to see. Trijicon HD has that ring but I can't attest to how it looks on a gun, I have to plain old Trijicon on some guns that came that way.

I did, it was not that bad using nylon punch. It did take a time to install the new one, trying to take as little metal at a time.

You don't like the night sights? They're vastly superior to what comes on the 75b. You can definitely sell it. Just make sure not to break the vials.

          I can't believe it

I can't believe you didn't like the Meprolite Night Sights that come standard on that pistol. I love them to death. I have them on all of my guns except a couple. But it's a matter of choice I guess.

I just had CGW put this on my SP01. It is an LPA/Kensight fully adjustable rear, AKA Shadow Target Sight. I have the same sight on my 75bSA and I love it. FYI, the slide does have to get milled though. They will do it for $220 including the sight.

I got these sights from CGW for my SP-01. They call them the "over 40" sights. LOL

I got the Burris Fastfire III on my SP-01. Old4eyes helped me out big time!

I use a CZ Custom competition or tactical rear with a Dawson .195" x .095 fiber optic front. Works great for me.

I also had this rear sight installed on my SP-01. CGW does an excellent job. Same sight I have on my 1911's.

Agreed. Perfect for me as well.

I agree with title1guy, great sights from Cgw, if you don't need night sights
