    Beretta 92 plastic parts

I saw enough YouTube for people upgrading the 92 with metal parts.

To my surprise, when I bring the magnet, it sticks to the trigger and safety. They look like polymer but they are steel parts.

    So why people changes them?

Not quite. The Beretta triggers that many assume are plastic are in fact plastic/polymer molded over metal. That includes even the most basic 92. The magnet test doesn't lie.

That said, I replaced all mine with the Wilson reduced reach steel trigger.

I have read that the trigger is polymer coated steel.

Now ask me about the Colt Govt model .380 - fully plastic trigger

Plastic guide rod too. I also think the Sig P238 is a plastic trigger. There are aftermarket steel ones.

How do you like the feel of the reduced reach trigger?

Yes, all of the so-called plastic parts are in fact polymer coated steel parts. That being said, I always swap out the trigger mainly because I just prefer the feel of the metal part.
