Hi guys,
I'm looking to possibly selling my Gen 3 Glock 17 for a Glock 19. I've been searching the handgun sales forums and browsing previous topics where G17s were sold to get an idea of price but every topic in which the G17 has been sold has the price edited out by the OP. What kind of price can reasonably expect to sell my G17 with about 1000 to 1200~ rounds fired, two 10 round magazines, Glock speedloader, and the standard box and lock? The gun is stock with the exception of added Talon grips. I am ballparking around $400, since new G17s here in the LA area seem to go around $530ish average.
In regards to the G19, some G19s I've rented at ranges before I bought my G17 had the infamous brass to face issue. I have Google'd extensively on this issue and it seems as it's a hit or miss on current new Glocks that affects both gen 3s and gen 4s, with some people reporting it and others having no issues. Is it still reasonable to expect a brand new gen 3 G19 today to possibly having this issue?
Thanks in advance
