Does anyone else experience this when firing their Glock?

Any time I shoot a new glock, my trigger finger gets sore (sometimes even a blister) from the trigger safety hinge thingy rubbing on it. On my personal Glocks, I've had to sand it down so it sits flush inside the trigger when pulled. Otherwise it's uncomfortable as all hell on my finger. Yes I'm aware that makes me sound like a pansy.
I have had that issue but only on my G29SF when shooting my hot 10mm loads and only when I am shooting a box or more. When I was fooling around with load workups of some 200gr WFNGC and loading into the twilight zone, I ended up wrapping the tip of my finger with masking tape to keep from getting a bad blister. Those same loads put a really big bruise in the crotch between my thump and index finger when shooting them through one of my 1911's. Monster recoil, even with a fat beaver tail. The bruise was so bad, I had to stop shooting anything but light target loads for a few months.

Switch to a smooth trigger and that raw finger deal goes away.
Go shoot a Glock for a while, then try to pick up your 1911 or Sig.
Have to burn ammo in unlearn whatever makes you proficient with a Glock.
Like your wrist has to come back to normal and your trigger finger has to stop that weird jerk.

I like Glocks. I've done some competitive shooting and used them for classes. I don't have any problems with the transition from finger at high register to finger on trigger.

However, Glocks are my primary, so I am most accustomed to them. Also, I don't glue my finger down in the high register, so I am not sliding it over the slide and frame.
If it was a snake, it would have bit me.

I think it's more of when you move from picture 1 to picture 2, you've put down the glock and picked up a SIG.

No wonder it doesn't feel very smooth.
