Replace Guide rod for full rail TRP?

I have seen YouTube videos where it looks like the Dawson took less guide rod would be great for regular TRPs or half rails, but it doesn't look like it will work with the full rail as you can't access the lever. Does anyone have a link to the correct product that works for full rail trp ? Thanks

Thanks. Looks like you have to basically disassemble it like a glock? In terms of the slide

I used the Dawson tool-less guide rod on my full rail TRP; worked fine.

I have it on mine and it works great for reassembling. This was the video that made me interested and he shows it on both half and full railed. https://youtu.be/FyKIm3Ol4lU

Exactly. The Dawson is invaluable for these TRPs.

I replaced the 2 piece FLGR with the Wilson Combat 1 piece FLGR, flatwire spring and shock buff.

Best $39 I ever put in a pistol.

Use Dawson tool-less guide rods on my fill dust cover STI's they were designed for that. They will work fine on any 1911.

Why not put in the old gi recoil plug and spring? Cheap and easy.

Remember to dial 1 before 911.

Forget about stopping power. If you can't hit it, you can't stop it.

Because it's a full rail trp. They have bull barrels. Nothing for the plug to hold on to

That doesn't work for the bull barrels bro.
