    Glock customer service is excellent

I sent a worn gen 2 G19 in last Monday and had them put night sights on for $60. They replaced almost everything else for free and sent it back in a glock box. All in 7 days.

They also replace the GTL series rail lights for free.

      Awesome.

Nice to hear feel good stories about companies who stand behind their products.

I had the same thing done last year. Good stuff.

          Very cool!

Note, I am not a Glock fan boy. I have a few, but most of them have never been shot.

The one thing I have to really give glock credit on is the design and simplicity of working on his guns. It only takes about 10 minutes to replace everything and parts are cheap. Good on them for taking care of you.

ALL the springs, slide stop, pins, the whole trigger assembly, mag catch, slide cover plate, firing pin assembly.... 17 items plus the sights.

Good to hear. They've had some problems in the past but they seem to be much better these days.

Another option is to go to a GSSF match armorer - I've seen people say, hey, I bought this old Glock, it doesn't really run right, could you check it out and the guy basically was like dude, no wonder he dremeled the crap out of this thing and gutted it and replaced everything on the spot. No charge of course. Wouldn't take a tip.

I did the same with my Gen 2 but just sent in the slide for night sights. When I got it back they replaced the extractor as well. It works but wish I had specified to leave the original flat one on there.

They stole your tool steel parts and swapped in MIM junk?

I had to call them three times to get them to actually send me my followers. But they did eventually send me my new followers for free, so can't really complain. I've had better experiences with other companies.

+1 Guess it depends on your definition of EXCELLENT Customer Service. Still shipping out faulty followers years after known issues?
As an early Gen4 adopter. Excellent Customer Service definitely does not apply to Glock, in my book. I have hung up the phone unsatisfied more with Glock than any other manufacturer.

From my experience, SA, S&W, Ruger provide vastly superior Customer Service compared to Glock.

My LGS is happy to install Glock sights with purchase. Sure... if you choose to pay to ship your gun in + pay for
the sights, Glock will do it too.
