Importing High Capacity Mag Parts vs. the assembled mag

I purchased a conversion kit but had the +10 rd mag left in another state with the remaining parts sent to me in CA. Therefore the mag which is illegal in CA is not imported and I am not in violation. The idea would be to have it permanently blocked out of state and then shipped to me once made CA legal.

    Here's my question:
If the magazine is disassembled into its parts, can it be shipped in as parts and never assembled or blocked here in CA? Or is it not even legal to ship in the parts? Have read many different version of the penal code rules which specify the mags assuming they are assembled and makes reference to conversion kits to increase CA compliant mags to high capacity. Have also read that you can own the disassembled parts in CA and reassemble when you leave the state borders but this applies to out of state residents moving in and legacy high capacity mag owners.

Hoping someone can shed some light.

It's been illegal to import parts kits for a couple years now.

Since 01-01-2014; it is illegal to make, import, and transfer "large capacity magazine conversion kits" in CA.

"large capacity magazine conversion kits" includes all or some of the parts that can be used to make a large capacity magazine and any combination of parts that can be used to increase the capacity of a magazine to greater than 10 rounds.

It is legal to possess a "large capacity magazine conversion kit" in CA.
It's legal to use the "large capacity magazine conversion kit" to make a permanently modified 10 round magazine.
It's illegal to use the "large capacity magazine conversion kit" to make a large capacity magazine.

It's illegal for new residents and non-residents of CA to bring "large capacity magazine conversion kits" to CA.
It's legal for a CA resident to leave CA with "large capacity magazine conversion kits", but illegal for them to return to CA with those "large capacity magazine conversion kits".

            Penal Code 32310
            (a) Except as provided in Article 2 (commencing with Section 32400) of this chapter and in Chapter 1 (commencing with Section 17700) of Division 2 of Title 2, commencing January 1, 2000, any person in this state who manufactures or causes to be manufactured, imports into the state, keeps for sale, or offers or exposes for sale, or who gives, lends, buys, or receives any large-capacity magazine is punishable by imprisonment in a county jail not exceeding one year or imprisonment pursuant to subdivision (h) of Section 1170.
            (b) For purposes of this section, "manufacturing" includes both fabricating a magazine and assembling a magazine from a combination of parts, including, but not limited to, the body, spring, follower, and floor plate or end plate, to be a fully functioning large-capacity magazine.

            Penal Code 32311
            (a) Except as provided in Article 2 (commencing with Section 32400) of this chapter and in Chapter 1 (commencing with Section 17700) of Division 2 of Title 2, commencing January 1, 2014, any person in this state who knowingly manufactures or causes to be manufactured, imports into the state, keeps for sale, or offers or exposes for sale, or who gives, lends, buys, or receives any large capacity magazine conversion kit is punishable by a fine of not more than one thousand dollars ($1,000) or imprisonment in a county jail not to exceed six months, or by both that fine and imprisonment. This section does not apply to a fully assembled large-capacity magazine, which is governed by Section 32310.
            (b) For purposes of this section, a "large capacity magazine conversion kit" is a device or combination of parts of a fully functioning large-capacity magazine, including, but not limited to, the body, spring, follower, and floor plate or end plate, capable of converting an ammunition feeding device into a large-capacity magazine.

Hoping you're just trolling but if you're really asking this question, what magazine are you trying to assemble that you can't buy in a 10-round version here?
