My G35 slide has the indentions "V" notches that is depicted (interior front of slide) in photo # 3 where the two slides are compared. Mine is similar to the one on the right.

I had a buddy send me a pic of her 35 slide but mine still has what looks like a chip. And yeah, it definitely isn't the same contour as a 34, my bad on that part. But there still is a chip
