    10.5 Barrel Buffer Weight

What buffer weight are you guys running?
I'm currently building a 10.5 Faxon Barrel that has a gas port size of 0.08. Im not sure if I should run a standard carbine or pay the extra for a heavier buffer. I feel like 0.08 gas port is pretty big compared to other 10.5 barrels.

well the port position is the same as on a carbine so standard should be fine

I run a standrad carbine buffer on my KAK 10.5 barrel. I did have to turn the gas down a little with an adjustable GB but I never measured the size of the gas port.
