Finish on Hanguns

I have this used Kahr K40. I was wondering how you could tell if it has just the Matte Black finish or the Black Titanium finish? Any proven way to test it?
The Kahr was made with either finish. Thanks

I heard the black finish tastes like oil... And The Ti finish tastes like tin and oil... Hope this helps.. Cheers..
