    Call Leupold?
Never mind, easier to just ask random people.
Hey, this is the first response. Wait for the next one. Should be the answer.

Leupold has a lifetime warranty. My guess is someone didn't follow the instructions to make adjustments. There are lock screws that have to backed off before adjusting, or damage will occur.

Honestly, the Deltapoint sucks for this reason. Plus it is nearly impossible to adjust while on the gun if you also have a rear sight - a total joke. They finally fixed these issues with the latest 'Pro' model. Mine has been back twice, they are just fragile. If I were you, I would send it back for repair then sell it when you get it fixed. That is what I am doing.

Also, the way battery is replaced is far from well engineered.

I have one and I like it a lot, but I am careful when adjusting it or tinkering.

I'm pretty happy with my Burris Fastfire 3.

So I sent my deltapoint back to leupold and they sent me a new pro. It's a nice optic but worn cowitness on my pistol. Good service though.
