Magazine with extension causing problems in shorter Glocks.

I normally use flush fitting magazines with subcompact Glocks. ( 43,26,27). I noticed when I use a magazine with extension , I have occasional feeding problems . I have average size hands. Anyone had same issues? When I go back to flush fitting mags they run just fine.

the flush mags are the best with the shorty Glocks because if you touch the mag it changes the feed angle of the bullets in the mag.
Thats why I never used any sort of extensions on my 26.

Which guns have feeding problems with which brand of extensions?

What kind of feeding problems are you having? With all ammo or certain types/brands?

When using extensions that are greater than +1, have you tried extra power springs?

My 43,26 and 27. I ALWAYS uses flush future mags. The ones with extension just set in boxes. I started using the at the range few weeks ago ( still only carry the flush fitting ones), and noticed my previously reliable Glocks having someone failures to feed occasionally. Mostly 43 and 27, but had a couple of with 26.

I use Pearce extensions for all the 9-round mags in my Glock 30 without any problems.

The 30 uses the wider frame so I can understand why it wouldn't be a problem.

G27 owner, finger extensions on two mags, flush on another, never any feeding problems. Ever.

I have carried and shot the Glock 26 and 30 with the Pearce grips (+0) without issue for years.

I am not familar with the "flush future mags" or the "extentsion just set in boxes".

Maybe a photo would help identify your grip extension.

I am assuming you mean the flush fitting factory Glock mags which I also use with the Pearce extension (+0, not XL) without issue.

Is this the brand extensions you are using?

G26 with flush, Pierce +0, +1, in time, I had an issue with the +1's not feeding every time, same with my G35's with +1. (Everything stock springs)
So I just load them to 10 and stopped having issues.

Probably need a stronger mag spring. You are lengthening it and not compensating for that

I've been curious, is that legal in CA? I thought we were limited to 10 rounds, but extensions on handguns are ok? Or are you being naughty and civilly disobeying
Then out spake brave Horatius; The captain of the gate "To every man upon this earth, death cometh soon or late, And how can man die better, Than facing fearful odds, for the ashes of his fathers, And the temples of his gods."

I only use +1 and +2 (stronger spring recommended, but not essential for all mag extensions) for weapons which are less than ten to start and never exceed 10 total (plus one in the spout of course).

The G43 and G42 get plus extensions, the G26 and G30 mags did not...
