I dont think that is entirely true. When you are running, gunning, and sweating, a slightly more agressive texture can come in handy. Regardless, thanks for the feedback.

Maybe it's just swimming backwards!?! Okay I can tell that they're scales but what is on the grip? Or is it even a fish at all? Not bashing on it op just really want to know what it is? I can dig the Xd though but if you're happy then all good.

Like I've said in the other stippling thread, I've shot in the rain and I've shot in triple digit heat. Both times my hands were wet and I had no problem holding onto my Glock 19. I shoot 4-5 hours every Sunday and I don't need stippling. It's all in your grip and how much pressure you're applying.

I also have experience with stippling, I stippled my LC9 back before I knew how to use a pistol competently, it made no difference. That was when I first started shooting pistol regularly, before I knew anything.

Stippling is more about playing dress up with pistols and accessorizing than it is about functionality. Case and point, all the pretty designs people get done.

Or alternatively, they want more grip and decide that they might as well get it done in a way they think looks nice, since they're doing it anyway?

Same reason checkering on a rifle stock can be plain or fancy.

I like the Springfield more. But its cool to have different guns. I spray paint my hunting guns or anything i tell myself i dont ever want to sell.
