    Valor back from Dan Wesson

Messing around with posting pics and thought I'd share some recent work I had done by Dan Wesson. I purchased the Valor here in the marketplace beginning of the year or so from a fellow members. I really like two to tone handguns and had been searching sometime for a combat elite with no luck. So, got my hands on a Valor with intent of having the frame finished. Since it was a DW, I thought it made sense to send to Mfg.

All the work was really cosmetic. The Valor shot perfectly and didn't really need any performance upgrades. Not that anything I could have done would have made me a better shooter unless someone makes an attachment that automatically brings your target closer???

In addition to slide finish, I had carry and ball cuts added, skeleton speed trigger, mag well, and that nifty plug added and I did a little research and searching online for the grips.

One thing, if any of you can recommend new sights, I'd appreciate. It's been pretty hard for me to get used to the straight 8's and I think im just set in my ways with a 3 dot. I'm also getting pretty up there in age so a high contrastsight wouldn't hurt either.

I really don't like that two tone look on the Valor. But I'm glad you like it

Nice gun OP. Mine is a DW Pointman 7 in 10MM. I don't feel the need for any changes. Just load and shoot till I run out of ammo. Clean and repeat.

the grips do much to enhance the already outstanding symmetry of this pistol and the overall appearance exudes seamlessness.

Looks great, enjoy your refreshed valor. I've got a duty coated valor and it easily one of my favorites. In my opinion on par with most of the semi custom 1911's out there.
