If you have a Taurus Millenium that is more than a year old, you need to take a look at it immediately. The old style recoil spring, that is one without a front bushing, has a habit of failing, and when it does, the gun locks up and is unable to function (I had a heck of a time getting mine apart to fix it). What happens is that the spring pushes forward of the retaining knob on the plastic rod. If you have the old style spring, send it back to Taurus and they will send you a new model that has a bushing at the front.
