    There was no 60 series as far as I know, does it actually say 60 series on it?

      They didn't even make stainless Old Cups when they were Series 70.

        Correct, stainless steel models were first released in 1984 = Series 80

              "Gold Cups" are cool in a sense of the Colt branding and looks.
              Elliason Target sights
              Raised serrated rib in the slide
              Slanted cocking serrations
              "Wide trigger"

              The models that are pre-series 70 are the one that would command $$$

                the "new ones" are typically lacking the ribs on the top of the slide.

                They are nice shooting 1911's though, esp for someone whos capable
