    Low power 9mm ammo

I wonder if there's a specific 9mm ammo that has low power, so less recoil, that would be great for target practice/qualifying?

Well, I find the "for qualifying" part a little disturbing.

That said, I chose this ammo for my SIG P938 because it penetrates very well, without the higher pressure of either a +P load or even std. HST ammo.

    Soft-shooting and very precise.

    Also very hard to find.

I use Federal American Eagle 147 grain FP for practice. Same performance.

Why would one not use ammo with similar recoil properties to the ammo they carry for defense? The only use I've seen with less than full power loads is specifically tuned loads for competition shooter's, that most of them make themselves, or are made specially for them. In the guns I use for defensive purposes I want my practice ammo to be as similar to what I use for defense as possible, if not the exact same round, but that get's real expensive these days.

Remington UMC is pretty wimpy, close to powder puff loads.

federal 115gr bulk crap is great for a low powered round.

Edited: You might just want to try some premium 124gr rounds if your doing this for qualifing. I know i'm not the only one who can shoot 124 better than 115 give both a shot. Remington Golden Sabers are my favorite-- 124gr jacketed

Every 9mm round I've ever shot is low power to include +P, how much lower do you want it?

Could you elaborate more on why you want under-powered loads? Qualifying for what kind of test? You want to practice with a similar load to what you will be required to use on game day, whatever that may be.

One option is getting a 22LR kit for your weapon, depending on what you have.

Blazer Brass, Tula in the round box, Federal aluminium case I steer clear from -- due to its power being too low to cycle the heavy bolt in my Vector Arms UZI pistol.

Leftists are progressives, Prussian state-socialists, fascists. Liberals stand against the state and unequivocally support liberty. Leftists support state tyranny.

.32acp and .380acp for decades are considered major power pistols in Europe. If standard 9mm produces too much brutal recoil for you remember there are always more options.

I'm no expert on what makes for major power, but I can't imagine 32 acp being major anything.
