    This is an off-roster pistol.

As to your second question - yes, I own a Tanfoglio pistol. It is a fine handgun indeed. It is a fine shooter with a nice trigger.

If you have the means to acquire one - via PPT, intrafamilial transfer, etc - I think you will be happy.

You can get the armscor MAP1 or MAPP1 FS/MS that is on roster. From what I can tell, it's exactly the same as my polymer witness.

          yup...this. it's even stamped Tangfolio

Only the MAPP 1 FS/MS (polymer frame) is on the list. DOJ and Armscor can't get it right regarding the MAP1 (steel frame version)

I would rather have the armscor gun. It has the frame safety while the Bud's gun is a slide mounted decocker. I have a polymer framed witness like the armscor and it's my home defense gun. Those are cheaper at buds than the decocker version.
Specifications: Caliber: 9mm Action: Semi-automatic (SA / DA) Capacity: 16 Barrel length: 4.5 Frame: Polymer Grips: Polymer

If you don't have a means to get them in CA, then it's pointless to compare pricing.

whatever your dual residency conditions are, even if you are able to buy in AZ while you still maintain your CA residency, you can't bring it back into CA, unless you go through a FFL and because it's off-roster, they won't be able to DROS it to you

I don't know why I would need to re-dros a pistol I already own, done it before.

Because you are California resident. If you are resident of another state and you are moving to CA,you can bring your firearms but they still must comply with local laws (10 round mags, bullet buttons etc.).If you are already a resident-you can't bring guns from other state.

No big deal, man. It's just a felony and will prevent future firearms ownership.

But hey, to each his own
