    My G34

This pistol is awesome! Had a blast after I picked it up. I wish Glock would make a .45 version of it, they'd sell booku pistols. I wonder if the cut slide would prevent this from being a duty carry weapon? Anybody out there in LE or security carry one?

Even if they make it you cant have one, peasant.

Glock will not be adding any models to the CA roster. CA does not recognise the loaded chamber indicator on the glock.

It isn't ported you should be allowed to carry it. If they let you carry a Glock 9mm you should be good to go.

Is there anyway we can confirm glock wont pay to re-list the existing guns on the roster right now? I have been hearing alot of rumors saying their not. But as i said RUMORS. I would hate to see glock fall off

no way i can confirm it for you...
However, many guns have fallen off and had to reapply (i thought that happened to Beretta 92fs just last year). If that happens to glock, there is no comming back... and im sure the DOJ will do what it can to misplace forms make california safer (for criminals).

No more Glocks in CA? If that happens I'm going to be really mother smurfin pissed. Glock can't be that stupid to abandon CA's massive market.

So in '07 are all new guns required to have the mag disconnect and a chamber indicator?

As long as the manufacturers keep up their payments, the guns do not need to be retested and can stay on list. Or so I was told.

Eventually the biggies will come around after they stop making enough models on the list and have many new products in their line. They won't wanna lose the CA biz, it's too large.

Quite a few of the bigger gun co's have LCIs already engineered along w/mag discos, just not 'productized' yet.

If that happens, we could probably shoot down the 2007 law because its taking away buisness from the state... and this state is going broke.

The only thing this state's govt understands is money. Either throw it at it or take it away....

I bet if we created a bill that would let us register california "assault weapons" but you must pay a fee of $100.... they would easily take up that bill into law.

I am not going to buy any gun that have the stupid magazine disconnect. That was the first thing that I took out of my BHP when I bought mine, and will not buy any Ruger MKIII for the same reason. I am fine with chamber loading indicator as long as it does not cause any reliability issue.

Bingo. Most guns can have thois feature easily removed (FN Five Seven requires removal of a single bar, BHP, removal of one part and spring), but it's the thought that counts. The Ruger Mk3 is a freaking target/plinker and has all this extra crap flating around in it. Not to mention the fugly loaded chamber indicator. There are still too many Mk2s flating around to bother with the Mk3.
