    USP Decocker and Trigger Question

Picked up a USP 45 recently, planning to throw a match trigger in it. I know with CZ's the decocker affects the trigger pull/weight, is it the same with USP's? I'm trying to decide if I want to replace the detent plate to go safety only.

I did not notice a difference after swapping detente plates, but I also did not measure the trigger pull. I don't see how it would affect the pull, but you never know.

I don't think it does, which is why the decock slams the hammer down harder than other decockers like SIG/CZ.

I don't see how having a good decocker is relevant on the performance of a gun. Also Sigs just aren't as sexy as this...

So reliable they shoot bullets loaded backwards.

yea they will still be trying to live that one down 100 years from now
                  moving on....
I would do the detent plate just because I would like it better. I like decock, no safety. One less thing to go wrong.

Too much bling for me, the black screws clashes with the rest of the gun IMHO.

I cannot let the best picture in a USP thread be a SiG. With respect, of course. [emoji14]

Order it from HK Webshop, its cheaper than HKParts and they tend to have a lot of coupons available. Managed to snag mine for $73 shipped two BlackFridays ago.

No, the decocker has no impact on the trigger weight
