    Falling for the 10mm

I am falling for the 10mm and i have not even shot it yet..

I have a glock 21 (.45) and just got an upper/slide from a g20 (10mm). This includes stronger spring and 6" jarvis bbl.

The more i look into the ballistics of the 10mm, the more drool my shoelaces soak up..

I just read that DoubleTap's 135gn 10mm Nosler is going 1600fps/768fpe from the G20's 4.6" stock barrel, but with a longer custom barrel, it goes ballistic, playing out that a 6" KKM = recorded data of 1785fps...955ft/lbs. Imagine 15+1 of those bad boys.. you could take down a E.D.209-

and thats the better antipersonal stuff, check out the hardcast ammo- nuts.

Personally I don't undertand the 10mm. The 45 IMO is more than enough for two legged animals. If I needed more power I'd reach for a rifle because recoil can become an issue in a fight. A 357mag revo would be a better option because ammo can be bought anywhere and is a lot cheap then 10mm. Is it the hi-cap ("normal cap" for you PC type) that you like about it? please explain. I'd like to love the 10mm but I just don't see the need.

bu-bye you're too practical. Since when does there need to be a need to buy any gun?

I started handloading 10s before I even had a firearm for them.

HAHA maybe your right . This might also be why I don't like high priced euro cars. Too much money to fix them and keep up while a chevy can be fixed with a hammer and does not need to be babied

I think you've got that backwards. Calling them high caps is PC hippy talk . Previously I'd always bought common calibers 9mm, .22, .45, etc. But I wanted something a little different (but not too oddball) and with a little bit of oomph. Plus, I really like the way a 1911 fits my hand. So a 10mm 1911 seemed like the right choice.
