Grip module or frame and the Sig p250?

So Im looking into whether the xdm40 od green or sig p250 digital camo will be my next firearms purchase and found this on gunbroker. They are calling the frame of the p250 and grip Module... how does the p250's unique system... and NRFing? what part of the p250 requires a FFL?

    Check this out on Gunbroker..

On the SIG P250, the part with the trigger on it is the frame, which also has the serial number on it and that is what gets sent to a FFL.

Stripped frame of a SIG P250.

That has some interesting 80% possibilities...

        CA Certified Gun List?

I just checked on the CA Certified Gun List at the DOJ website, and I don't see the Sig 250 on it. How will you get the gun into the state?

If it was an 80% frame, it wouldn't be hard to do at all. Now someone have an LEO friend buy the gun and give the frame piece to a CAD engineer and design a 80% frame for all us happy Californians.

The grip module is the easy part. You can contact Sig or ask your local Sig to get you the module. But machining the frame and trigger group, that has the serial number maybe a different story. I am not a machinist but there seems to be a lot of odd angles. I would bet you would spend a lot more money with the programmer to get your first unit completed. Four axis machining stuff etc. Never mind your ripping off Sig Sauers design. And could end up with a law suit for patent infringement. And that might lead to a state issue.
I would wait for a P250 to come up for sale used, and then you only have to worry about having to make a 10 round magazine.
              Very interesting!!

If you could make these at a reasonable price I would definetly be in for 1 or 2!

The P250 compact is on the roster. Once you have that one my understanding of how the P250 works is you have all of the variations. DOJ may get their panties in a wad, (if they somehow found out) but if the trigger group is considered the serialized frame someone should be good to go.
