Ok handgun aficionados, I'm looking for suggestions.
I am not a handgun guy. Not saying I don't have one or know how to use one, but my experience with various models is nil. If it's not a 1911 or a revolver, I'm kind of lost.
As much as I love the 1911, I'm looking for something a little different. This is a list of what I'm looking for.......
9mm
Metal frame.
Single action/manual safety.
Capacity. (only reason I have to go with 9mm)
Full size. (just not larger than a 1911)
Price range $500-$900. Think $750.
Ca rostered would be helpful. Since I'll be compiling a list of guns I can go find/look/finger, and maybe even test drive.
When I say capacity, I am fully aware of the 10 round law. Lets just pretend we live in "free America". I do not have a CCW. I do not plan to carry this gun holstered on my body.
I am not a fan of polymer framed handguns. I would like to stay with an all metal gun. I'm not opposed to a compact frame, but no sub-compacts. I am not unfamiliar with decockers, I just prefer manual safeties.
I dislike noob questions like this. I searched for a while and found some info, but it wasn't what I was looking for. Maybe I missed it. If I did, sorry. throw up a link.
TIA
