    Gcode holster

    Hey Guys,

I recently got a gcode holster for a sig 226 from Natchez shooters supply. Lo and behold it didn't fit.

I ended up calling g code and they said that Natchez was not an authorized dealer and that they wouldn't honor their lifetime warranty.

I always assumed a company's product is their product no matter who sold it. How would a different shop selling it change that fact? The guy on the line wouldn't budge and so now i need to go through the hassle of sending it back without no recourse.

Beware of the Natchez line of gcode holsters and frankly i'm wary of the company as a whole at this point...

    Just a heads up...

I can understand their point, to an extent. How do you know that what you received is an authentic G code holster? I understand Natchez is big, but why couldn't they get a distribution deal done with G-Code? Did they feel they would not be able to keep up with demand of supplying Natchez and dealing with customer problems at that level? Hope they resolve your issue without too much headache, because the holsters themselves are pretty good...

Are you sending it back to G-Code or returning it to Natchez? If possible, just return it to Natchez and buy from a different "approved" retailer to avoid further hassle.

Or get the Safariland 7TS ALS 7377 Holster Got mine from HosterOps for $72 for the holster, QLS system, and a belt mount. I used to have a G-Code, and the Safariland feels much better :P

Their is no question about them being authentic...what gcode is saying is that they don't know the 'chain of custody' so to speak and that is why their warranty does not apply. Honestly...seems kinda shoddy service to me. I mean its not like an unauthorized dealer will do anything an authorized one won't. If its your product...you should back it...no matter who sells it.

In any case, I already tossed the holsters...kept the belt clips though....might come in handy for something else. Wasn't worth the return shipping/hastle....

Wait...you just tossed it? I'm sorry, but this is starting to sound suspect. G Code holsters aren't exactly cheap. And Natchez is a pretty big company. You never contacted them about the holster? Is it possible they just shipped you the wrong holster?

Something isn't adding up here. I own a G Code holster for my P226 btw and it's a great holster. Very high quality.

                Because they are fake knock-offs.

No..Eagle was the previous distributor for gcode...but not anymore. Eage was their official distributor from 2005 onwards. I checked the whole thing out. The holsters are legit but i'm guessing they were sitting somewhere for a really long time...maybe somewhere hot.

The ones i got were great quality wise but they were deformed just a bit to where the holster wouldn't fit.

Oh well...their magazine holster (double stack 45) though is top notch...5 bucks I should've bought a few of those...

You could have softened up the Kydex with a hair dryer or heat gun to fix it.

My experiences have also been terrible with G-code.

3 holsters and all three had issues. A beretta holster, Sig p226 holster and a p99 holster.

2 of the holsters have incorrect screws. They're way to long so it is way too deep into the holster body. I'll cut it down later but it's an annoying issue. G code blew off the issue.

The p99 didn't fit at all. The width of the front is too narrow to accept the muzzle end of the gun. Again gcode stated it's not their problem.

While i got them cheap I will not support g-code going further. I've used primarily comp Tac and go through a lot of holsters. I thought trying a new brand would be nice, but previously never run into petty issues like this.

Pretty terrible quality in my opinion and their customer service was... wait... what customer service?

                        Screws too long

So you bought something that was extremely discounted...Enough to give any reasonable person "pause" to wonder, "what's going on here?" Did you ask the seller why the discounts were so great? Did you ask the seller to return the goods and refund you?

Here's a guess as to what is going on here. Eagle bought a bunch of inventory and then failed to protect that inventory and it became damaged. They took it up with G Code and G Code probably said, "you guys caused this, file a claim with your insurance company, we're not paying." This blew up and likely led to G Code dropping Eagle as their distributor. Eagle is trying to now palm off their negligence on unsuspecting customers who don't stop and wonder why someone is selling a $45-$100 product dirt cheap.

Yea, something is rotten here but I really don't think it's G Code. I also don't know why you would purchase something for pennies on the dollar without asking questions first. And I don't know how you can purchase something for pennies on the dollar and then be mad that the MFG won't cover it.
