    Sig Sauer P228/P226/P229 hammer spring?

While I enjoy the Sig Sauer pistols, especially the West German models I question myself on which hammer would work on particular models. Nothing wrong with trigger pull but sometimes it feels a bit tight at times.
There options out there but afraid on buying the wrong hammer spring for my pistol.
    Recommended hammer springs?

Standard is 24lb for older models and 21lb in newer models with short springs.

Be sure you know which style of spring seat you have, the newer models are plastic and use a shorter hammer spring. Some older guns have been retrofitted with newer seats so don't just go by the age of the pistol, be sure.

You can get a pack for metal spring seats with 16, 17, 18, 19 for $11 from Wolff. https://www.gunsprings.com/Semi-Auto...D1/mID4/dID254

Or $9 for 17,18,19 for the short springs for use with plastic seat.

For defense purposes I personally would go no less than 20lb and maybe 21 or 22lb in the older guns or no less than 19lb in newer guns.

If this is just for range use, I would buy the multi weight spring kit and see which one you like and be sure it reliably fires the ammo you typically use.

3 cases of Blazer Brass 180gr.
2 cases of 165gr Gold Dots.
      About 1/2 a case of 165gr HST's.
      1 case Speer TMJ's

      357sig
      ------------
      2 cases 125gr gold dot
      3 cases Speed 125gr TMJ

Some random mags of Freedom Munitions I didnt like.
A few random boxes of WWB 357sig
      It's been fine.

I'm past the 5k Rd respring interval and everything was good except for the FM.
