I've searched but I can't find anything definitive.
I'm in AZ, is there a way to sell a Rhino to a friend in CA? It sounds like Single action exemption is the way to go but how hard is that to do to a rhino?

Lastly, I'm sure the answer is no, but can I bring the rhino to CA and do a PTP transfer?

The reason we or us Californians can buy the rhino is because they sell it as SA only. But once we buy it we can or a gun Smith can convert it back to DA/SA.
As for you to covert it to SA in order to send it to a ffl in Cali I'm not sure how to convert it to SA. I assume some parts needs to be taken out.

In order to do a PPT you would need to be a resident in Cali and both of you guys need to go to an ffl to make the transfer.

If there are other ways I'm not too entirely sure.
I know that if your a father and u want to transfer a gun to your son, that's another possible way. Its called intra-familial handgun transaction. But since u just said it was for a friend than that won't work.

1- it is not as easy to SA a Rhino as some other revolvers.

2- Contact Audiophil or EBR (both are vendors on calgun). I believe they are both in Prescott AZ. Either one can do the SA conversion and ship it to the CA FFL for your friend.
