Personally I would suggest looking for one of those instead of trying to make yours look like it. You will always know it's not an original and you can never get back what you put into it when you ever re-sell it because nobody wants to buy a fake or copy. Just save your money and shoot your P239 and keep your eyes open for one that you really want. Just my opinion.

I dress up all my Sigs fully satisfied because I know what I wanted whether cheap imitation or genuine. The ones that I've sold were in original state so these Barbies are staying with me.

I've been very happy with my Hogue purchases, whether it be their G10 or wood grips. I put their kingwood grips on my Hi-Power. Slimmed it down nicely and look awesome

Even though my P220 has it's plastic grips, I always like how Sig's look with wood grips

The stock grips were too thin for my medium hand so the Hogue woodgrips filled more thickness and now it's very comfortable to hold.

@LG: You can get a darker or lighter one or anything in between. I picked this color to blend into the future project with this gun.
I agree the stock grips are a little in the thin side, it's just a matter of getting used to the thicker grips. BTW - I was able to talk the hogue rep at the NRA conference into selling me the grips for $65 instead of $99 ($109 + 10% show discount). Needless to say I was very pleased. 😀 I also think the two-tone look is cool.

            Happy 4th!

It takes a lot of balls to play golf the way I do.

Yep! woodgrips take a "boring" gun into the next level. Love them!
