    Can anyone recommend me a 1911 gun smith within a reasonable distance from west covina ?

                                  Depends on what you want. Did you want a full boat custom or to have it reworked to be a reliable accurate tool.

                                  Willy Clark at American Gunworks in Glendale does an outstanding job of making 1911's flawlessly functioning pistols.
