Any other gun "contageous" liked CZ 75 Compact ?

Here my story:
I went to LGS, wander around looking for a .22LR or $350-$400 9mm pistol. The sale man show me the CZ75 compact . After hold the pistol check it out I pulled out the credit card do the DROS for that CZ 75 Compact. A $560 pistol, over my pistol budget.

My friend story (both of us are new to this kind of shooting sport):
We went to the indoor range together, after he tried my CZ-75 Compact, shoot couple magazines. Two week later he called me and tell me that "You know what, I just DROS the CZ75 Compact just like the one you had".

My daughter story:
I asked her what she want for her coming up birthday, she said that she want a cowgirl revolver so she can go to the shooting range with me. I show her the picture and she want the EAA Bounty Hunter .22RL SS/Silver model , so far so good. This afternoon, when I (learn) to clean my pistol, my girl just swing by and said hi , she saw the couple pistols and revolver on the table, she pick up each of them and hold on her hand. She hold my CZ75 Compact for a while dry fire with it and told me that she want this one instead of the silver cowgirl revolver. I have to talk her out that she can share this CZ75 Compact with me at the range instead of buy two same gun. And she agreed on that.

I wonder if any other gun "contagious" liked this CZ75 Compact . So I can get away from it , and DO NOT SHOW ME THE PICTURE

The ratio of CZ to Non-CZ in this CZ thread is off. Let me fix it. OP you are not alone in being susceptible to the pull of the CZ. Gratz on the Compact!

Tok how does the p07 or p09 (can't tell on phone) compare to a standard factory 75b or sp01. Or vs a g17/19?

I was at ASR a couple months ago.

I'm minding my own business shooting away when this guy walks up and starts shooting next to me.

He's looking over at my Shield 9 and I'm looking at his two CZs, one full size and one compact.

Saying nothing, I slid my Shield over to him on the bench along with a full mag.
He slid both CZs over to me with a mag for each.

Man, those CZs sure do fit the hand nice!
Both shot tiny little groups at 7 yards.
I really like the compact, it's an easy shooter for being a smaller gun.

Now, I just gone done telling myself not to buy any more guns.
I've actually been selling some off.
Except now I want a CZ compact.

I have too little experience with the Glock platform to comment.

Compared to a CZ75 variant, Personally the P Series are too thin for me, so i run a grip rap with a palm swell to fatten it up. I have some issues with the limited aftermarket parts options for Omega trigger system as well. They can be tuned but not quite to the degree of a 75 variant due to the absence of a comparable T3 (oversized Disco) for the P-Series/Omega trigger system.

With parts and tuning my P-09 came out with a good crisp SA, not prefect but its getting there. The DA still needs work, while i believe there is still room for me to improve it, for now it is not great. I still need to pull the trigger bar to flatten it out and try tweaking a few other things.

I am glad i picked up an 09 i needed more exposure to poly framed pistols. In general folks seam pretty happy with their P-series but then most of my reading is on one of the available CZ forums. Not the best place to get an unbiased opinion.

Thanks tok. Given that the small frame can is already a tiny bit thin for me (ex a large frame tan folio is perfect) and I too am not 100% sold on the omega system yet, I'll stick to other poly guns for now.

On a different note I do not understand why Cz invented the omega trigger... While not bad per se, it doesn't beat the original in any way IMO. nor does it look like it saves them money, is more durable, etc.
