Completed shooting 500 rounds on my EMP 9 today, (Actually today I put in 300 rounds and two weeks ago I put in 200 rounds so total of 500). I was so impressed by the way the firearm performed, first I started shooting 50 rounds of Federal 124 grain HST no hiccups, then I tried the 50 rounds of 147 grain HST's (inspired by Hickok45 shooting it on youtube) no hiccups, then finished with 200 rounds of Walmart 110 grain ammo and not a single failure. I was hitting the 8 inch shoot n see target consistently at 25 yards and the trigger is outstanding, count me in as one very happy and proud owner of EMP 9.

Very nice! Wish we could get the 4" one here is Cali... That was a quick turn around for the fix! I'm thinking of calling them, for some reason on my range officer compact the finish is wearing off on the left side of the dust cover on the slide... Less then 100 rounds through it and its very noticeable. Hasn't caused an issue with function but worried about long term use.

I have always wanted one of those EMP pistols from SA. My local gun store has one in stock but I don't have the money for it. The price is $1300 and some change if I recall. Congrats on the sweet shooting pistol though. Sounds like a super accurate pistol. Are you going to carry it?

Good to hear. I pick mine up on Monday. I have a permit imod on Wednesday. I would have been able to get it on Saturday but my FFL is closed on weekends. Hope I have the same luck.

EMP!

I bought a EMP in March. Picked it up on a Wednesday, and took it to a four day handgun class the next weekend. Fired almost 500 rounds without a single malfunction. Expensive, yes! But worth every penny! IMHO
