Go figure!! i like it so much that I got me a second one and get it next monday
Same thing happened to me. I remember 25 years ago I went shooting for first time with my cousins in the mountains and a LAPD friend came along w us that had a lot of cool stuff. My brother nor I had ever shot a gun and I was given a Glock 19 and 10yo brother was given a .44 mag- I was much more accurate than him!!

Fast forward 15 years and decided to buy Glock 17 and first handgun. Didn't shoot it well- not a natural POA like my 1911's , Beretta 92s , etc-

Sold it and picked up Glock 19 as well as Glock30sf and shoot them both ok.

          G19 is the only 9mm Glock I don't own.

Had a G23 with 9mm converson for a long time but traded it a couple weeks ago because it hadn't been out of the safe for 6-8 months.

The mid-size just doesn't fit me well enough. The G26 is better for carry and fits perfectly and the G17 & G34 fits my hand great and are better for range time.

the 17 was strictly used for my home defense gun, but every time i took it to the range, my shot placement would be everywhere except the target. lol. i love the 19, it fits better in the hand, making me more accurate.

So, i bought a second G19 that will take the place of my 17 for home defense, but my first G19 is my special project. I added a s3f solution barrel, apex trigger kit, Wolf guide rod, and it shoots great. then, i plan to have the grip stippled, then have slide worked on, not sure if I will have it cut out for an RMR, and then cerekote which i am not sure what color as of yet.

Be careful, Glocks seem to multiply rather quickly. I bought a 19, now there is a 21 Gen 4 and 34 in my safe.

                    ^this.

I have slightly bigger than average hands, and my pinky will barely grip / slip off the 19. I figure if you want a compact gun, the only reasons should be you have abnormally tiny hands, or you want a concealable, carry gun. Either way, you might as well get a sub compact gun (26), or get a full size that would shoot better.

All depends on the shooter though I guess...

I have a Gen4 G19. It may not be the most precise gun I own, or the sexiest, or the most comfortable to shoot, but I have extremely high confidence that it will cycle reliably and put rounds in a tight circle at a range I'll see in home defense.

                          I trust it.

Well I just begged someone on the MP to sell me another G19, I hate myself... God why does everyone want this gun?! Everyone and their grandmother has one, you don't need another one!
