Which one should I put an RMR on?

    Gen 4 G17 or Gen 3 G34?

I like the lighter factory trigger on the G34 and the longer sight radius. Putting the RMR on the G34 would negate the longer sight radius though.

Gen 4 G17 I'd have to get the slide milled or buy an after market one already milled. Don't like the mounting in the rear sight notch. Would be cool to have a nice Gen 4 all tricked out though. Could do a trigger job I suppose.

I'd get a lone wolf slide and have them mill it out. That way if you change your mind you can go back to stock sell it and get most of your money back.

Raven Balor for the RMR. Or ATEi for milling. Do the 17

Was looking at the "Suarez" ones for ~$300. Like the idea of not having to cut into any of my factory slides but prices start to add up with that and $600 RMR

34 it is a comp pistol, it is made to be tricked out and perfected.

It's another $155 if you want internals installed no sights. Also doesn't say anything about the barrel. I'm not sure what the total cost of going lone wolf is too be honest but I think it's cheaper and doesn't have that obnoxious suarez label. I thought about doing what you're and ended up getting a under barrel rail mount that puts a picatinny rail over the slide. Just to see if I'll even like it.

Lone wolf is 300 for the stripped slide with slide melt which is what they call the rds milling. 175 for slide and 125 for milling.

$556.99 before shipping or tax for the milled slide, front tritium sight, and cover for the milled area. And I agree, don't like the big obnoxious SUAREZ logo on the side.

That's not bad but I'm guessing that's with no sights, barrel, or recoil spring?

It isn't any good to me without the internals

Maybe I should just bite the bullet and get the stock slide milled for ~$125

That's ultimately your call. I tend to try to keep stock things stock if I can't undo it. I would only do it if I was 100000% positive that's what I wantand I won't ever change my mind.

Not much of a poll, I don't see a Hi Point listed anywhere on there, just saying
"A free people ought to be armed" George Washington, 1790

"Don't fire unless fired upon. But if they mean to have war, let it begin here" Capt. John Parker, 19 April 1776, Lexington Green

I don't see the option for bacon

OP, do you have experience with an RMR on a pistol? I'd base my decision off of previous experience otherwise I'll follow this thread for pictures.
