I vote for hk p2000 LEM 9mm. Friend just picked one up for $619 shipped.

Yep, PLUS $45+ for a FFL to receive it.......... so really $660+ With that being said, I just sold my P2000 and bought a G34 for $599.

There are still good ones. SP101, SP-01, P-01, RAMI, PCR, Springfield Milspec, all the XD's, all the Glocks, RIA's including the Match FS if you find a great sale.

For me, it is the P-01 because I want it and don't have one.

Bedside or hipside?

For the nightstand, a full-size CZ (75B, SP-01, etc.).

For carry, a 4" XD in your favorite caliber.

I love my CZs but they are too heavy to carry. What they lose in weight, however, they gain in follow-up shots.

XDs are as reliable as Glocks, but they don't feel like chalkboard erasers when you grab them.

BTW, if you are a fan of 45ACP, my 4" XD is the softest shooting 45 I have shot to date.
