AS for me!
DA is smooth, SA is crisp.Comment

Definitely ASComment

For those of us who are unfamiliar with the P99, what are the differences?I think it can be confirmed that an alien xenomorph is absolutely no match for good ole' Alabama black snake!

If you're in a survival movie and the hot blond twists her ankle and can't walk, you damn well figure a way to carry her. If it's a dude, you shake his hand and say "best of luck".Comment

That's for the AS trigger. The QA trigger is more Glock-like. The AS has a decocker that is meant to be used. The QA has a decocker that is to be used to disassemble the weapon. As such, to decock a QA you have to stick a pen or something in there. QA doesn't have restrike like the AS.Comment

That depends...
For a range gun I would go with an AS trigger P99.
However, for a concealed carry/self defense gun, the AS single action "follow up shot" type very light trigger pull could be an issue. If a person is not comfortable with the light single action trigger pull of a 1911, then they should shy away from the AS trigger and go with the QA trigger.Comment
