He came over and handed me the box. When I opened it the gun looked brand new.
I asked if he was selling it so that he could buy something. He said that he had bought two, one for himself and one for his girlfriend. His girlfriend never shot the gun and they had just broke.
I can live with another all black Glock. Now I have to buy a few extra mags and a holster.

Lol I'm like "what state is this cuz it can't be Cali". Louisiana huh.

I left CA. back in 1986 to come home to Louisiana. I missed the food.
I do feel bad that y'all have to deal with all those crazy gun laws and can't get good cajun food.
The local shops around here sell the G 43 for $459 to $499.

Could do that but in the long run it would just get scratched up and look like crap.

        I just DROS's one yesterday.
Paid a small premium for it, but it was the best price on CG so far.

Perfectly legal to buy, own, and shoot a G43. No, you cannot buy it new unless you're LEO, but the OP wasn't buying his new, so what's your point?

I test fired one right after they came out.
I haven't shot this one yet. Going to be pretty busy this week at work, we've had a good bit of shooting in the past four days, and I should have plenty of evidence to pick up tomorrow.
I may be able to make it to the range by Thursday.

Am I getting this right, Only LEOs can buy new Glock 43s in CA.?
If so, What is wrong with the people that run that state.

I have 2 of them, paid premium but worth it for me.

Now get yourself several mags and add TTI +2. Now they came out with +3....Oh my. carry with +2 and +3 in the pocket.

best CCW out there in my opinion.

base pad +2 and +3. with the +2 you can get full purchase of your hand on the gun, makes it feel really good.

I have the +2 and it functions flawlessly, 0 misfeeds. With the +2 very easy to conceal still. Havent seen the +3 but sure it is great quality as the others.

I had high hopes for the 43 but sold it after shooting it once. I just liked my shield better. Nice little gun for $325 though. That's better than blue label price.

I'm a Glock guy, but perfectly happy with my Shield in regards to a smaller 9mm.

This is the brand holster I will be getting. They are hand made by Kee Darnell.
It's an inside the waistband holster that is comfortable and stays put.
It also has a lifetime warranty.
                              LEO cost is $50

I had him make this one for my FNS9.

Currently comparing the two, but will be taking multiple sessions to decide... Love my Shield, but of course I see benefit in standardizing on a single PD/HD platform...
