Life's journey is not to arrive safely in a well preserved body, but rather to slide in sideways, totally worn out, shouting "holy schit...what a ride"!!

Q: What was the most positive result of the "Cash for Clunkers" program?
A: It took 95% of the Obama bumper stickers off the road.

I've walked in 4 times now in Idaho in the last year I've been here, NEVER been stopped. I'm pretty sure it is you.

Hope it all gets cleared up.

If you had a small plane like an LSA, would the county or the state let you land it on your own land? Provided you had enough open land to accomodate a grass landing field.

                    Nice.

We were walking along our favorite trail early this morning. Two young boys, I am guessing about 10 yrs old, were peddling their mountain bikes toward us. As they passed, after slowing to what anyone would call a "safe pace", the lead rider and then his wingman both made eye contact and called out, "Good Morning!"

It really is the America I grew up in, it may exist in a few places in CA, but only a few, and none with traffic problems...

Well, maybe not ME, but somebody...

Moral of the story for all those in CA that feel put upon, you can move to a free state but if there is a guy there with a similar name, who is not a nice guy, you still aren't going to get that gun right away.

Went in yesterday to buy a mouse gun, BG check came back "delayed", once again. Delay expires Wednesday this time.. not 10 days, but tick, tock, tick, tock..

At least I will have time for those 380 Auto dies to get here...

I definitely have to get that CCW permit and state police BG check done, so I get ALL my free state rights..

This is a huge part of why I REALLY love it here. People will look you in the eye, shake your hand, and say hello. A man's handshake is his word. A "normal" guy in jeans, a t-shirt, and boots actually goes to work, gets his hands dirty, brings home a paycheck, and provides for his family. Same guys wife stays home and raises their kids and doesn't rely on someone else to watch the kids while she goes out and works. Family values are taught, bratty kids are disciplined, and it just feels so dang NORMAL all the time.

                        LOVE IT!!!!!

They raised it thankfully. That part of the drive between ca and ID always sucked.
