    Will this cause issues?

Just picked up my 1911 from getting cerokoted a little bit ago and took it apart to clean it and saw that my polished feed ramp is now cerokoted black, will this cause feeding issues?

It's possible, but you won't know until you take it out and shoot it. If there is an issue, use a POLISHING CYLINDER with a dremel on the ramp only. DO NOT use a grinding cylinder. If you are unsure of the difference, let a gunsmith do it.

Well for once I can say "that'll buff out", and mean it.

I've seen people cerakote the feed ramp and fire no problem and others have ftf problems. Try it to find out or if you just want to take the guess work out polish it. Take your time and use at least 600-800 grit first and then polish with Flitz with a Dremel.

It's anecdotal, but my Ed Brown Special Forces has a coated ramp. Hasn't missed a beat. If I decide to polish it, I wouldn't expect it to change its performance. Like others said above, shoot it. You'll find out quick enough!
