    CZ v.s. EAA

I noticed the price on CZ has gone through the roof this year, so how does EAA's Tanfolio guns compare to CZs in quality and accuracy? I heard EAAs are build beefier than CZs and that the current CZs have some quality control problem. So how does the two compare? A CZ 75B cost more than an EAA Witness Match. Which is the better value?

The EAA witness are pretty good from what I hear. I personally never had one but from what I read it's more good than bad. I REALLY REALLY want a 10MM EAA Witness But i'm never going to find it in Cali..

I was looking for a EAA Match, but found almost no EAA on DOJ approved list.

            ^^ Waiting for Nerfs.

CZ. Better quality, original (Think like, Its the Colt of 1911's) the rest are copies. control issues. I don't know about that.

EAA. bad customer support, great price, beefy? maybe. Get a 10mm and you can buy 9mm, 38 super and so on.

            I have a CZ75, i want an EAA match in .40

My CZ hasn't suffered any quality problems at all. I've shot probably Eleventy Billion rounds thru the thing, and it has had one failure to feed that was chalked up to ammo anyways (case out of spec). It's gone to hell and back, and it looks it. But it shoots great.

Imitation might be flattering, but I still like the originals.

Nothing at all wrong with a Witness, great guns. I may get one in 10mm or .38 Super one of these days since CZ does not offer those calibers.

I had the wonderfinish compact EAA witness in .40 cal. It is a real good gun, inexpensive, accurate and reliable, but on the heavy side.
I bought the CZ-97b (.45 ACP) it would only feed ball ammo reliably. I now sold both in favor of others. If they ever get back on the CA. DOJ approved list, I will get me a wonderfinish .45 ACP full size EAA witness, beautiful gun. They eat anything. A good trigger to match.
My experience. Since they are no longer on the approved list, all I can do is dream or move out of state.

I love my EAA's. I really miss the one I sold here about a year ago. I sold it with 45ACP, 22LR and 10mm uppers with multiple mags for all calibers.

If they ever hit the list again, or I move, I'm buying more.

The CZ's are nice guns, but the multiple caliber uppers available through EAA make the difference to me. The EAA is also strongly supported by factory and aftermarket accessories if you want to build up a race gun from a stock bare bones version
