Light/laser mounted? Looking into getting a light maybe light/laser for my glock 23. I was doing some reading and came across some info saying that .40 glocks often have functioning issues with mounted lights due to frame flexing. Anyone have any bad experiences with a light mounted to their .40 glock? Thanks!

How heavy is your light/laser??
I guess it might be a problem if you intended to mount a full size mag-light, but other than that, they don't make these things out of cheap plastic.. -
I haven't had a malfunction with my Glock 23 yet. It has a light, and hasn't been cleaned in 1500 rounds.Comment

You haven't had your entire frame flex due to a 5 ounce light?!?
I assumed you'd have a circlegun by now!Comment

There is a lot of subject matter on this. The most consistent truth to it is, the gen 3 are more susceptible to it then the gen 4. And the number one cause is people have a tendency to crank down on their light, attaching it to tightly to the frame, it's plastic you can twist and distort the frame rail by over tightening the light. I have ran lights on Glock 35's, 22's and 23's gen 3 and 4. I snug my light firmly but not with a death grip and have not had any problems.Im a warmonger baby, I got blood in my eyes and I'm looking at you.Comment

I recently watched a video of a Glock shooting in slow motion. I couldn't believe how much the frame wobbled and flexed.Comment
