NRA's Competitive Shooting Division offers a wide range of activities in all types of shooting, for everyone from the novice to the world-class competitor. The NRA sanctions over 11,000 shooting tournaments and sponsors over 50 national championships each year.

That is Doug Koenig's meat & potatoes.

I wish shooting sport's The Masters is still alive.

He could always have an issue.
Bruce throw a pair of eights on the mover to drop him out of his normal spot.

Never shot the Masters but it does sound like fun.
          Barry is a nice range.

Masters was the largest paying major match. Match sponsors not honoring what they pledged killed it.

Yup, Jerry Barnheart (Sp) won $50,000 but was never paid.

Jerry Barnhart was my idol back in the days. There were some unscrupulous match officers and sponsors back in the 90s. Steel Challenge was in hiatus for a while for the same reason.

I remember Springfield Armory Team was Rob (TGO), Doug Koenig, Doug & Kippi Boykin, Jerry Barnes and Arnt Myre. The Jet was the steel master as Koenig is to Bianchi Cup.
