I took a brand new Glock 17 to the range today and experienced quite a few jams or misfeeds. Probably about 1 out of 10 rounds would misfeed.
I haven't experienced this before, but since the gun is new, my first thought was that I wasn't loading the ammo into the magazine properly. I'm a relativley new shooter, so I'm not quite sure what could be causing this. Is the round supposed to sit at the very back of the magazine, or towards thr front, or does it matter? Any ideas?
I was using UMC ammo purchased from Big 5.
