WRITE TO GOVN BROWN

Hey everyone,

As you all may have heard, several bills are making their way through the California Senate to the desk of Governor Brown; we need to write to him to express our opinions against these bills ASAP. I implore you as fellow gun owners of this state to stand up for your rights to defend yourselves and own firearms.

You do not need to write a whole thesis statement, but your voice needs to be heard in the collective uproar that is required to make it clear that the people of California do not agree with these new proposals becoming laws. If you've ever complained about California, it is your responsibility to do something about it.

Throw a comment down below in order to make sure that this post rises to the top, and that there will be maximum exposure to everyone that wants to make a difference.

Hey lonestar,

I know that this section of the forum isn't technically for these kinds of posts, but I felt like too many people are just letting these laws pass without even attempting to take action. I know for a fact that more people browse this forum than the 2nd Amendment one, and I'm desperate for everyone to see this. I will be cross-posting to the correct forum.

Seeing as how this forum gets much more traffic and it's a high priority subject, I don't think there is such a thing as "wrong section"


There's plenty of similar advise already in the 2A forum.....this subject could use more exposure to those who don't think about looking in the 2A.

No problem. We all have a responsibility to do our part, and 5 minutes worth of writing to the Gov. will make a difference.

I also implore all of you to make mention of the CURRENT gun laws in effect, not just the ones threatening to pass. Remember that we've all had our rights stripped from us for a long time now, and things are not going to change unless we constantly fight for it.

I 100% agree that we need to take action, but I'm afraid Mr. Brown laughs at us when he opens these letters..

first of all, I don't think he personally opens them.

secondly...I don't think we'll play any role in changing his mind, but who knows?

it definitely doesn't hurt though

I'm not saying we shouldn't call or write him....I'm arguing that we need to do more.

the real question is,..what can we really do to undo all of the anti-gun bull crap laws that have been passed in this state? (outside of getting elected ourselves and changing it).

its so sad to see our 2nd amendment rights getting obliterated daily...
