    USA Glock vs Austria Glock

Sorry if this has been asked, but I could not find it.
I see Glock 43's for sale that say USA on the slide and some that say Austria on the slide.
What is the difference if any?

Some are made in USA and some in Austria.
No differences other then the engraving on the slide.

But only the Austria ones are on the CA Roster.
          American made guns are "unsafe".
Thanks to our great leaders for being dumber than a box of rocks.

Made by Americans using parts imported from Austria.

There's no Glock 43's on the roster.

It's difficult to describe... in fact it's downright mind-boggling. The two are strangely similar, yet they remain uniquely different enough that a man needs to own both.
Personally, I find that the USA G43 makes a better IWB gun, while the Austrian-made G43 is the superior OWB weapon.. albeit by a very small margin.
Both come with two mags, one of which has a grip extension.

My understanding is that the surface treatment of the slide and barrel on the Austrian ones are more durable. The coating utilized is banned by the EPA, so the American ones have a different coating.

Are you trying to breed your glocks to make a USA/Austrian hybrid?
