    G17L valuation?

I bought this from a Calgunner a while back, and I'm trying to get a feel for market value for insurance declaration. Here it is:

If you just bought it you know what it's worth. I always check the GunBroker completed sales section to get current prices.

I was seeking replacement cost in California. GB is a great source, except for off-roster guns in California. If it gets stolen, I can't buy a replacement from out of state.

Blue Label price is nice to know, but they are unobtainium in these parts.

The rest of you must be insurance adjusters.

you know what market price in CA is for it, you just paid it.

you also can find out what "normal" price is based on retail and GB pricing. whether or not your insurance company is going to give you your claimed "unicorn" value is unknown.

Same thing goes for RAWs. is my bushmaster RAW worth $3k because it is unobtanium in CA? or is it worthless since there is ZERO market for it in CA? that is between you and your insurance adjuster.

Do you want an AOW or C&R SBS/SBR in CA?

You could try using the cost of a Glock 34, plus any modifications (magazine well and upgraded sights) the pistol has, as a base cost.

How we get from "a while back" to "just paid it" is a mystery.

Thanks. That's consistent with what my research showed.

For insurance declaration, do you have to declare the replacement value of the gun in CA or the value of the item according to gunbroker or blue book of gun value?

BTW I bought a stock LNIB Glock 17L about 3 months ago for $800.
