So, today's my b-day (happy birthday to me...happy birthday to me...). The Queen has heard me speak of River City Gun Exchange on numerous occasions, so she said "Let's take a trip". Grabbed the TomTom and away we went.

40 minute drive from Vacaville. Gotta tell ya, when it comes to simply firearms, RCGE is head and shoulders above Guns, Fishing and Other Stuff. People are great, no harsh words for fondling, answered all questions, pleasant banter back and forth, and were, without exception, fan-frikken-tastic.

Anyway, to make a short story long, my Queen bought me this:

I *might* get a replacement trigger. The stock configuration fits me fine...trigger reach and all is great. Just like the look of a skeletonized unit.

Definitely gonna get the 460 Rowland conversion, tho!

I like that place in Sac, as a matter of fact the guys that work there are about the coolest I've ever talked to. Very knowledgeable, pleasant and no attitude. I did a trade with teleconlineman last weekend at that place, I have a Stag OLL varmint waiting for me to pick up. Is there a rifle wait support group?
