Threaded and non 1908 Colt Barrels

The Model M is a great pistol and I have always wanted a suppressed one so we went ahead and made the barrels.Threaded .380 1908 barrels, threaded .32 acp 1903 barrels and non threaded for each. Decided to make non threaded as well since so many of these guns have corroded bores and bulged barrels.

Turned out really nice imho and shoot really well. Photos below are the proto barrels so the threads do not have a shoulder but the production ones do, I'll get pics up by the weekend, they are fresh out of the tank!

That's a really great picture of a California Assault Weapon.
    It's not PTSD, it's nostalgia.

What does mag capacity or where the mag release is have to do with the fact it's a CA AW?

Tough crowd. I have a M1908 made in 1922 and it was a fine shooter. I even had a custom holster made for it but never got to use it. If reliable aftermarket mags were available I would shoot it but alas my original factory mags were damaged years ago. So it just sits in a drawer. I would be interested to hear how your 1908 works with the suppressor. What suppressor do you plan to use?

                  Mac Attack,
Thanks but I kinda brought that on myself, and should have ben better educated before popping off .

Those are indeed Novak Sights. Right now I am shooting it with a Ti-Rant 9mm suppressor, but it is a little large for the gun. Here is a picture of one of my friends shooting it.

Watched the video and was actually surprised the .380 was not quieter. You made the barrels, nice work. I have a 1903 barrel for mine and used to switch them back and forth. The .32 ACP is more pleasant to shoot. Btw, any leads on aftermarket mags?

Thank You. Those were very hot JHP loads and shooting under an overhang which amplified it a bit.

The 32 is a bit more pleasant to shoot for sure, they are great pointing pistols.
About the best you can do for mags is buy about 10 triple k's and tweak them until you get 2 that work. As you know the originals are very pricy
