    My new Springfield Professional

This gun as a funny backstory and I will fill that in shortly, but here are pics of this beauty.....now the hard part..the CA wait, at least it isnt two years right

The mark on the slide near the muzzle is just an oily thumbprint.

The gun looks absolutely brand new, tight and smooth, super clean trigger, it is a PRO ....I will do a review and all that when I get it out of jail.

    Here is the Backstory...
Ah yes, the back story......So In June of LAST year I went to River City gun and bought this gun, I noticed the thumb safety was SUPER mushy and right at the end of my DROS I went in and cancelled the sale because I was not too keen on spending 3k plus tax and DROS to send it back for repair. They charged a restocking fee but allowed me store credit that is still there. Fast forward a bit, River city sells the gun, the owner notices the safety is not right, sends it back and gets it fixed. He posts it for sale I buy it from him for obviously less and the safety is fixed by SACS. I get home and look for my old DROS form and it is the SAME SERIAL NUMBER!!! I guess it was meant to be. Kind of a cool story.

So, Technically I AM the original owner and am also the new owner I saved a ton of money, have a store credit that will be used on ammo AND the safety is fixed. SCORE!

I have both DROS forms, the old one and the new one almost a year apart. Same serial. I will post a pic with both together.

Congrats on your purchase. Just hope you have a secure safe to protect it in. Not sure what the outcome was but showing your valuables in a public forum is risky knowing what had happened to you recently.

The 20 LPI FSC is not nearly as sharp on the Pro because it is hand cut.
